If you didn’t know, every Wednesday when there is an hour late start the school serves food at lunch from around the world. These foods include but are not limited to, sushi, street tacos, Crispy Kung Pao, Kimchi Beef and broccoli. By doing this the school has led students to enjoy a more diverse lunch due to the more diverse food. Many students found themselves getting tired of the same spicy chicken sandwich and cheeseburger every day, and now they can enjoy a variety of food.
As well as helping students enjoy lunch more the school has also been inclusive by providing a wide variety of different cultured foods. Many students can feel respected by seeing their culture´s food on the lunch menu. This has helped create a friendly and inclusive environment here at Kern Valley High School.
