Mrs. Chappell

This month we are recognizing Randi Chappell for all of the wonderful things she does at Kern Valley High School. Mrs. Chappell currently teaches English, Yearbook and is also the Title I coordinator. Mrs.Chappell was born in Fontana, California, and moved to Lake Isabella when she was just six years old. She went to Kern Valley High School for all four years and was involved in numerous clubs and activities. She was a part of ASB, Spanish Club, Drama Club Pep Club, and was on the track team. In her free time, she worked at the movie theater with her friend Casey Howard.

She later went on to attend the University of Redlands to major in Liberal Studies and minor in English Literature. She decided to attend Redlands because she loved the campus, it was close to home and she commented stating that “the school size was appropriate for me”. Later on, she attended National University and Azusa Pacific University to obtain her Master’s Degree.

Mrs. Chappell is always working very hard to be an amazing employee, wife, and mother. She has one six-year-old son named Jackson and a stepdaughter Aislynne who is currently a senior at the high school. She has been married to her husband Randy (yes, they have the same name) for 11 years. Thank you Mrs. Chappell for all of the hard work and time that you have put into working with the students at Kern Valley!
