What’s New on Campus this November? (2020)
This month we have a few new things happening on campus, including some students being let back on campus to do school from there. Link crew emails were also sent out at the end of last month so any freshman should make sure to get in contact with their link crew supervisors!
KVHS clubs are finding ways to continue to be active, like the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) holding a food drive ending on November 13th that was a huge success, with enough food donated for 30 boxes given to families in need. Other clubs were able to schedule meetings and get in contact with students that were interested, such as the first Spanish Club meeting held on November 19th and Book Club planning to start having meetings soon. FCCLA is hosting a sock drive during the entire month of December. Drop off your new socks at either the high school or the Drug Store in Kernville to help those in need!
One of the most exciting things that happened this month was the start of sports conditioning. Cross country has conditioning once a week on Wednesdays at 3:30-4:30pm and football conditioning is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm. Volleyball conditioning is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm, just like football. All interested athletes should make sure to get their physicals done and complete all necessary paperwork in order to start conditioning!
Hope you all had a wonderful month of November with Thanksgiving and the Fall break. Don’t forget to answer the poll next month and submit art and photos!
