The Kern Valley Broncs basketball teams have gotten off to an extremely hot start in league play. Currently all teams are undefeated in league play and have been playing extremely well. The varsity boys started off rough losing 4 of their first 5 games but have bounced back and are now 5-5. They are led by returning seniors TJ Sanders, Daimon Dedmon, Derrick Hinkey, and Jacob Leith. The varsity girls basketball team has gotten off to a blistering start and are 7-2. They won the Bobby D. Lackey tournament beating league rivals Boron. They are led by returning seniors and captains Brookelynn Gallis and Quincie Preston. The JV boys basketball team has been on a tear in league. They had a convincing win over Mammoth and were able to beat Boron to start off league play strong. They all play Frazier Mountain Friday looking to extend their winning streaks and stay undefeated in league play.
