“There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm,

a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.”

Is a line from a fantasy novel by Patrick Rothfus titled The Name of the Wind. This book is the first of an incomplete series telling the tale of a fantasy world and a young man in this world named Kvothe. It tells of his heroic deeds and shortcomings. The book follows his journey from young boy watching his family be killed before his very eyes by supernatural beings to his enrollment and studying at a school of magic. The story is told as older Kvothe sharing his life story with a historian who tracked him down. This book is incredibly interesting and though it is fairly long it is worth reading for anyone who enjoys fantasy.
