2022 Kern County Fair
This year Kern Valley took 14 kids to the Kern County Annual Fair. These kids have been working hard on their livestock projects since May of 2022. They have put in loads of effort by showing up to the farm everyday, twice a day and even more.
The pig exhibitors include Danika D’Amico, Audrey Martinez, Chase Seidel, Blake Embree, and Christopher Lopez. A special congratulations to Danika D’Amico for placing 7th overall in the swine showmanship, and Audrey Martinez for placing 3rd in market for her hog.
The sheep exhibitors include Gunner Davis, Kassidy Mundy, Ariah Seidel, Kayden Maxwell, Thomas Anderson, Christine Laveck, Danika D’Amico, and Allison Lumpkin. These showers did really well in market, KB&F, and showmanship. A special congratulations to Ariah Seidel for placing 1st in class market, Allison Lumpkin for placing 2nd in class market, Gunner Davis for placing 1st in class market & 3rd in class KB&F, Kassidy Mundy for placing 1st in class market & 3rd in class KB&F, and Ariah, Gunner, and Kayden for placing in Showmanship final drive.
The goat exhibitors include Mitra Kiosef and Tammie Armet. Congratulations to these girls for showing and to Mitra for placing 3rd in class market. These exhibitors put lots of hard work and effort into showing this year and left the fair with amazing results. We exhibitors would love to thank the KV FFA Boosters for showing up everyday and keeping us fed and hydrated 24/7. They put in so much effort and put us first to make sure all went well. Another thanks to our Advisors Ms. England, Ms. Hughes, and Ms. I for making this all possible for us. We wouldn’t have been able to do this without you.
